Description:  This ancient stone-carved spear tip is presented on a custom metal base.  It features classic May River incised motifs with several stylized faces above a rectangular cut out section.  To me the most beautiful part of the spear are the raised ridges along the shaft.  It is precisely crafted with a superb medial ridge reminiscent of the finest steel edged weapons.  The spear section had its end cut off since it would have originally been 8-10 feet long.  It is in good condition with some tiny chips and some traces of old paint.  A rare specimen of very high quality!
