ELEGANT ANTIQUE, THREE PIECE, HORN SNUFF BOTTLE

Description: This elegantly made snuff bottle has a gorgeous use patina and rich color! It was a cherished personal object when it was made over 100 years ago and still is today. It is comprised of an ingenious sliding "cap" having carefully pierced interior walls for its cord, a tapered "spout" with treaded base, and a bulbous "reservoir" for the powdered tobacco snuff. In good condition except for minor old chips on the spout's tip and base. There is a faint 1/4" spot of red paint or ink on the base of the reservoir as seen in the last photo.
