Period/Date:  Circa 1950’s

Description: This powerful ancestor figure "nggwandu" retains most of its natural pigments and features a fluid body with good movement. Its style is very classic and has the traditional stylized Cockatoo birds on the headdress. It comes with a wooden display base.   In good condition except for some minor paint loss and a crack to one of the bird heads.  I noted that the figure looks older in person than the photos suggest.
